In this post, i will explain about how blogs can greatly affect our community, in both good and bad ways. these are the 2 well known blogs that i will be using as example. The first will be 'Diary of A Singaporean Mind' (http://singaporemind.blogspot.sg/) and second will be the Singapore famous blogger 'Xia Xue's Blog (http://xiaxue.blogspot.sg/) Diary of A Singaporan Mind Firstly, i would like to mention that i have no intention of making any politcal views here. In this blog, the blogger does wrote on how he feels about singapore's political issues,news and problems. So does this affect the community? YES, it does. Seriously. Let my analyse it for you. First of all, the blogger itself is not being objective in this post. For example, 'White paper Passed: Roadmap to an unwanted destination' and 'Population White Paper: An Epic Failure at all levels'. There is nothing wrong for him to post such a title/post. Its is a blog after all, like what i mention in my previous post, it is a personal diary. But what the real problem is, there are many people reading it. One of my friend told me, 'I was actually being neutural about politics until i read his blog, i start to hate the ruling party'. Just imagine how many people were in the same circumstances. Today, in our common lifestyle, many people does not read newspapers or maybe watch the news. people tend to read everything from a single resource. And i believe most of them will believe whatever they read first. So what do you think?
